Weaponizing the military against US civilians must be rejected by the court. The examples of government overreach by deploying the military against US civilians in the past has led to disastrous results.

Trump sending the our professional military against the US citizens reminds me of when King George I sent British troops to the colonies to bring them to heal. That caused the colonists to revolt. My thought is that trump wants the violence of an armed revolution so he can declare Martial Law and really activate the professional military against us. IMO.

When will the 5000 national guard soldiers be returned to Gov. Newsom? It’s fire season! The Madras fire is a one hour’s drive from our house right now, burning 80,000 acres. Please talk about the impact of these soldiers not being available to support our fire fighters.

Trump is terrified of Newsome! Miller obviously doesn’t understand the limits of the posse Comitatus act! It helps to actually have gone to law school, not manage a firm administratively! I’m so outraged of the assault on citizens who exercise their inalienable right to peacefully protest!

Correct , I do even live in the US and I get it. The administration has the congress locked up and the judicial branch is been consumed. They could care less about any laws.

Yes!!! Repubs/conservative folk are about states rights! I've already written "disappointment letters" to all our Republican congressman about HR1 with this as a major point.

The Republicans used to be the party of small government and used to be distrustful of the government. And now it's absolutely not that way. The Republican party is gone. It is now the party of Trump and President Stephen Miller.

Somebody needs to explain what happens when the US is broke. Think about a personal bankruptcy. You lose most of your assets. If Japan wants to call back their t-bills? We are F'ed.

So I am curious, with the insane amount of funding into ICE, how will the courts rein ICE in? ICE doesn't seem to fall under the same regulations; isn't there concern that their role may shift? The funding seems extremely excessive and who is to say ICE wont suddenly be tasked with "protecting election integrity," for example. Are there systems in place to protect everyone from what appears to be djt’s personal growing military force and intimidation personnel?

But they are. As far as I can see, the Everglades Prison will be privately run by a family company from Miami. 200, soon to be 700 marines are being deployed for I.C.E. support whatever that means.

How can the military be involved with a private company that’s operating the FL prison? That is unlawful.

If it’s private prison then they are responsible for supplying the staff.

What sense does it make to pay another country to house migrants when they could be working here and taking care of themselves? 45/47 said he would report criminals, how many criminals has he deported and how many non criminals has he deported???It appears, he is going after folk that have applied to become citizens.
