That's just wrong! They can have any views they want, but when they use their position to influence the people, that they serve its manipulation! That's not GOD's works or GOD's words!

Worse, I'm afraid THIS Supreme Court will find that just fine and dandy! 🤮

Watching the U.S. regress in real time to an absolute monarchy is not only appalling, it's stupid. We fought a revolution so we wouldn't HAVE to do any of these things any more....

...yeah, because I'm sure MAGA is thinking that way already.

The revolution has already occurred, while the public believed the propaganda of the oligarchs/corporatists. The extreme religious, single issue voters are very happy with this ruling...so far. Will the IRS also treat donations to these organizations are tax deductible?

We do not need our churches and non profits endorsing any political candidates. This just enables more divide in our country. We do not need this and now will force members of congregations out of a space free from the divides they experience everywhere else.

Keep your tax free status if you keep your platforms and your pulpits free of political agendas. You want to endorse someone then pay your taxes on your buildings your churches. Pay taxes like everyone else who endorses a politician from their dining room tables.

Seems pretty simple and for good reasons.

Maybe Legal AF should take the lead from John Oliver. He likes to expose stupid laws and policies by overly exploiting them. How about founding the “Church of American Law” with all of you listed as pastors?

In the Fall I stopped going to my church just because the pastor was giving political speeches.

My grandson and his fiancé have been looking for a church of their own but say they’re all too political. 😔 Sad. What a mockery of the cross!

C'mon, they already do this. If you want the christian vote all you have to say is god, guns, and babies. Then throw in a little trans secret sauce.

In spite of the political funding and tax exempt ramifications, every fanatical political group, MAGA included, will now have incentive to admit they are spouting religion rather than basing what they say on objective facts. There must be ways this will backfire on them. Unfortunately, "money talks" and as we see more and more, money has "free speech" rights. Let's make sure the flaws and dangers are exposed sooner rather than later.

What a CROCK OF 💩!!!! CHURCHES have NO BUSINESS spewing their religious rhetoric to ANYONE!! IF SO THEY SHOULD TOTALLY PAY TAXES!! This country was founded by people RUNNING FROM THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND SO THEY COULD WORSHIP AS THEY WISHED AND NOT UNDER THE THUMB OF RELIGIOUS ZEALOTS!!! O M G !!!! WHEN WILL THIS HYPOCRISY BE STOPPED!! Those here who come to mind are Jimmy Swaggert who rakes in millions and pays his people NOTHING! NO INSURANCE NOR BENEFITS BECAUSE GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU?!!!; JOEL OLSTINE WITH HIS MEGA CHURCH?!! PLEEEASSE!! NOT ALL OF US ARE BELIVERS IN THEIR BIBLE THUMPING! LETS GET REAL HERE!!! THEY ARE MILLIONAIRES....But of course they say that God wants us to live ABUNDANTLY...GIVE US A BREAK!! BILKING POOR PEOPLE TO HELP THEM SPREAD THE 'GOOD WORD'!!! Ie meaning judgement and HYPOCRISY! As a lapsed papist the Catholic Church is one of the richest and corrupt entities in the world who continues to move sexual predator priests around so as not to draw attention....sorry for the rant but this is just NOT what our country was founded on! They need to pay just like the rest of us!!

Will Muslim mosque mullahs be allowed to endorse candidates? What if a church pastor endorses a Democrat? Will Trump threaten a church leader if he/she endorses a candidate Trump does not like. Of course he will, more people Trump can threaten.
