The "Religious Conservatives" believe that now that they have power, they desire to make America a White Christian Nation that does NOT extend individual freedom to anyone "they" Do Not Sanction! Frankly it's because they will NOT take responsibility to teach their children the reality of life, that not everyone is their belief system, they fear anyone who does not think like them. They are "Christians who Do Not Follow the Teachings of Jesus". They are riddled with FEAR of the "Other", instead of the reality America was founded on the reality that those that come here desire to live their life without Government harassment.

The gasoline in their tank is fear. Such people are usually TERRIFIED of admitting of a world that is beyond heterosexual. When I was a kid, the favorite "tease" word of boys was to refer to their peers as f*ggot. That was a long time ago, but the fear is still there for a lot of men who fear "unusual" urges and women who have to get divorces because occasionally their husbands came out of the closet.

The terror lives on, despite the mainstreaming of LGBTQ in entertainment and the media. It truly is not anyone's business who someone else chooses to love. One could say...it's a "Christian thing."

Your asking why this regime wants to control what goes on behind closed doors? This is the same party who collapsed Grinder during conventions? The answer is in the question. Do as I say not as I do. Hypocrisy.

You may want to listen to Fivestack with Dean Blundell or Zev Shalev to learn exactly what is really going on behind closed doors.

Can you speak about the NEA’s unjust decision to remove Holocaust and antisemitism education from the required curriculum in the face of dangerously rising Jew hatred?

This is indeed worth discussing. I would like to clarify a few things, however.

You say it's an "unjust decision" but the decision does not "remove Holocaust and antisemitism education from the required curriculum." First of all, the NEA resolution is not binding; it is up to individual school districts to decide on their curriculum. Second, it does not seek to remove Holocaust and antisemitism education at all, but rather, to remove endorsement of materials provided by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) because the NEA no longer considers the ADL to be a source of unbiased information. Among the purposes of public education are to help children learn how to think, how to gather information, and how to intelligently synthesize information from various reputable sources to reach deeper understandings rather than to indoctrinate them in one particular viewpoint. (Whether or not various schools live up to these purposes is another discussion.)

Please read the rationale for the decision (link below). The history of anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab bias in this country includes a great deal of unjust bias against them, bias that makes some people think the Palestinians somehow deserve the genocide currently being inflicted upon them in Gaza. I am in no way attempting to minimize the very real antisemitism that also still exists here.

White men including white male and female Evangelicals are so afraid of Black and Brown Men some day ruling over them that they continue to treat them as Third Class Citizens.

Third-class citizens face significant barriers and disadvantages, experiencing a lack of equal opportunities and rights.

This is quite worrisome and has come to my city's suburbs in a slightly different form. One politically mixed wealthier suburb had a problem with an evangelical organization that was trying to pull some students out of class for part of the public school day. Furnished a special bus and everything. Concierge service.

Those kids would return after several hours with amazing treats and edibles that they had been given. It was an overt advertisement for the other kids to ask their parents if they could go to these religious classes too, just to get the great treats.

The suburb went to, I believe, their school board and got the practice out of their school. But it's still going on in more conservative areas of town and remains an ongoing battle.

These people simply don't know when to stop.

I think that the far right's obsession with "what's going on in other people's pants" is because, true to everything that they do, every accusation is a confession; many of them are secretly gay or afraid that they might be.

They want control over things they fear? The right, especially the Christian Right are some of the most fearful people alive. That fear manifests in a lot of people for a lot of different reasons.

Most, I think, are amenable thru education and familiarity. Some will never accept lgbtq rights, ever, ..but I do think it's a small minority once all the others are educated and familiarized. Just my 2 cents.

‘Conservative’ in politics means anal retentive, disguised as Christians, e.g. MAGA Mike that shares porn sites with his son - true.

Christians accept everyone as they are. Not these faux Christians. If one is black, brown, female, gay or trans, Jewish or Muslim, no country club for you. Women are tolerated.

This exclusion for now, gays/trans individuals. Except for sexual orientation that is not a ‘lifestyle choice’, are people like all of us are. We have no business in anyone else’s bedroom. Targets are being pasted on their backs without cause. Let’s go shake the skeletons in ‘conservative’ closets. Dress in women’s underwear? Who cares? Whips and chains? Ditto.
