Just moments after the Supreme Court said that nationwide injunctions won't work to protect birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment, but only the much harder path of Class Action certification can be used, public interest groups filed their emergency motions for class certification and for an injunction to stop Trump's unconstitutional assault on Birthright Citizenship. Now, to preserve our rights, there may have to be separate lawsuits on some issues in each of the 94 federal districts, or at least in each of the 13 appellate divisions. For each case, there will have to be organizations involved, legal firms, and specific plaintiffs. For such issues, some organization should keep up an ongoing database of where court cases are needed to preserve rights and where potential plaintiffs and organizations can find law firms. Is anyone doing that?
