Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Texas has many problems regarding weather! It was not the smartest idea to not invest in early warning systems. But that's because of the Republicans refusing to spend the money.

Let's make sure they get voted out!

When you destroy agencies that help protect the safety of citizens in the US, then the death tolls rise, just like the raging waters in TX and everywhere else that is prone to flooding. TX has billions in money surplus, that money should be used for an early earning flood system in the dry land areas that are affected by flash flooding!

Shame on TX governor and state legislators!

Trump will say that he doesn’t take a salary! He makes millions on his side deals, crypto coins, bibles, tennis shoes watches, trading cards, not to mention his fundraiser dinners at Mara-Largo and payoffs from Foreign Dignitaries. All those violate the emoluments clause but nobody seems to give a damn!

As tragic as all of these things are, republicans don’t care one way or the other. Calling them out on these issues doesn’t even make them flinch. What many of them do (surprisingly) care about are the Epstein files (even if their beloved leader is all over them). Yeah it’s important to hold them accountable for all of it but as long as the republicans hold the majority in the senate, it’s important to side with them on the one thing that gives the democrats a leg up on, the Epstein files. Besides, it’s much more fun to watch trump squirm, blame and belittle his own party using something that is driving him even more insane than he already is, the damn Epstein Files

For Trump to have gone to Texas and set up a broadcasted meeting with a panel of his boot lickers to flip the script and rewrite reality, was absolutely astonishing. Dr Phil flipping the narrative and singing praises to Trump about his perfect handling of this crisis was nauseating. I saw a clip of an interview where Trump was asked what he would like to say to the families who lost their little girls at the camp. No empathy. No condolences. Just more lies and deflection that included such hits as, “Everyone had a warning 18 hours in advance, then 12, then 8, and most people were asleep when the big warning came in 4 hours before…” and “Everyone did get adequate warning times and they CHOSE to still send their kids to camp and knew it was very risky and dangerous, especially this time of the year. So it’s just terrible what happened to them.” and then more about how he’s the God of Perfection and this is entirely the community in Texas who’s at fault for the weather, and not Musk or his deliberate actions.

Imagine being the parents who lost children heard that. Musk needs to be criminally charged for this reckless behavior and I hope one day all of Trumps key players who are intentionally breaking the law and the Constitution, are criminally charged for crimes against humanity for everything they are doing right now.

Every death that has occurred due to Federal Government's malfeasance of destroying our national safety nets, et al, must be a chargeable offense. At least, would it not be negligent homocide? These odious tactics are meant to reduce our US population. ICE gets rich, Education gets disappeared? WTF, gentlemen?

Don't forget Texas part of disaster. They got 10 million during covid to update flood alarms and dams . They didn't want money to go to someone else but they also didn't want to do that. So they took the money and upgraded police force by 7000. I'm sure it was emergency alerts to keep feds happy
